Mixed Categories problem

After making the changes described in this post: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=230304

 

I started to experience this problem. All of my itesm show up on all categories. If I clik on category 1, all products from category1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 show up. The same thing happens when I click on any og the categories.

 

What can I do to make sure only categoires appear on their repective category link?

Looks like your query isn't accounting for the categories_id properly, but without seeing the actual query, I can't tell you how to fix it, could you post that section of your code? The portion that you changed according to that other thread post? And don't post how they said to change it here, post your actual code :)

Hello there Im new here in the forum, I was reading some posts before this one that reffered to this one... and well I think Im having the same problem that xchido is having, So I was wondering If I could also send code too or what could I do, because I'd like to fix this... :( when you click on any of the single products from the categories .. it shows all products mixed, mislabeled and repeated...

Also if you need the code wich exactly file do I need to look into, I think is the index.php page?? but Im not quite sure... my knowledge in SQL is very very low :$

when you click Categories > Cases ..... it shows Monitors and Cases all mixed :S .. so I think it must be a Query problem but Im not sure

or when you click Categories > Monitors .... It shows Monitors + Cases all mixed and mislabeled :S

 

If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it, Thanks once again.
