lolmannz Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Hi guys I'm having trouble getting the table rate working for weight I have selected weight in the table rate options. I'm using 2.2 RC1 Oscommerce. I have an item at 200 grams (0.2 is the value I put in the product page) Then when I check out with the table rate: 1:12.50, 1000:35.00 (just to test it out) the price of shipping is $35.00 which makes no sense. I found that if I increased it to: 4:12.50, 1000:35.00 then the shipping price finally becomes $12.50 then I decreased the initial value: 3.5:12.50, 1000:35.00 It went back to $35.00 This makes no sense I just can't see a connection between the weight and the pricing... does anyone have this problem? I have also tested it with an item with ZERO weight at 3:12.50, 1000:35.00 the cost is $12.50 but at 2:12.50, 1000:35.00 the cost is $35.00 I'm pulling my hair out because of this problem, why is it so damn strange???

Bet that, in admin configuration shipping/packaging, the tare weight is set at 3. This is the weight of your packaging, so it gets added to the total weight.
