ufodepot Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 After I installed OS Commerce on the Linux Server a warning appears. Warning Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/content/s/c/i/scitechadmin/html/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. I went to the configure.php file and don't see where to set the permissions as it says in the instructions. Can anyone please tell me where/how to do this, so I can get rid of this message. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks, Hope
Cosmic_mouse Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Without more info on what kind of server and interface you're using the only help I can give you is that you have to set your permissions to 444 as far as I know. Warning: you won't be able to edit the file. If you do want to make changes you have to change the permissions back
