Credit Card Error Message Missing

I have a really strange problem.

 

I was test running my store. When I use the Authorize.Net Or the Credit Card Module, if I had entered in an incorrect Credit Card Number, instead of an error message (see below), my store will jump me back into the Login Screen. How do I get my error message back?

 

 

This is what the error message should look like

 

 

Once I type in an incorrect CC number,

 

It will shoot me back to login screen without displaying the credit card error message.

 

help? anyone?
