Weird response email when using forgotten password

Hi experts out there... I have installed a shop and finally got the email to work. When I tested the forgotten password function on the login page an email was sent but it was not complete.. Here is what was recieved -

 

A new password was requested from .

 

Your new password to 'Tek57' is:

 

BdkY6

BdkY6 was not the original password and the password was also changed in the database so the original password did not work.

 

Really need help!!!!

That is the way it works, a new password is issued.
