Help! Need small thumbnails on main page, large on product listing pages!

I have large images for my thumbnails, which is necessary, but on the front page I'd like to have smaller thumbnails. Is this possible? If so, how do you do it?

oh wow. Don't I feel dumb? Everything I've done lately has been pretty complicated, I guess I forgot to check the easy stuff first.. heh.
