Setting Up osCommerce

I have never set up any shopping cart. I took over a project that uses an osCommerce shopping cart with the shopping cart already configured.

after changing the permissions for the configure.php file and uploading, the site worked for some time and all of a sudden no images were displayed. There was text only and the place holders for images where there is supposed to be an image.

How can I get the images showing again.

Please any help will be greatly appreciated. By the way I am new to php

Hi, can you tell us what images are not showing? Are there any at all? If you could post back with a web page for us to go to look at it would be helpful.

all the images on the home page were not showing .now they are showing but the links are no longer pointing to the proper targerts. There is this text in evey url generated on the site: dir_ws_http_catalog. How can I stop this from getting into my links/urls
