I did some Joomla pojet related to this kind of system, butI'm new to OS Commerce

I'm trying to crack those 3 problems that I have. Any ideas?

 

1. When is the credit card charged, when the client clicks on "Submit" or when he invoices the client?

 

2. If a customer orders 12 bottles and I got only 10 in stock, how can I edit the order down to 10 and adjust the price accordingly?

How this problem is solved by OS Commerce if it is at all?

 

3. I needs to change the tax code so I will not be charge tax for out state orders. How can I do that?

You'll need to have a credit card processor (authorize.net or similar) to process the card online or manually input the information to your physical terminal.

You should set (in your admin panel) Configuration->Stock to:

Check stock level true

Subtract stock true

Allow Checkout false
