I am confused about credit card!

Please help!

 

I have my site live right now and my CC module is up as well as my paypal module. Is my credit card module hooked directly to my paypal account or will I need to type that info in myself.

 

I had a test setup done with a CC# in the osc backend and it shows the order is processing. I know it is a fake order but I am confused about what I need to do get it setup automatically to deposit the payment into my account. I could be a moron and this is already done for me but I am so confused!

The CC payment option is only there for testing.

How can I make the credit card option work???

 

1. disable the cc module in your admin under modules >> payment

 

2. then enable the paypal payment module, input your paypal email address

 

Now you can accept payments.....

 

Also go to paypal.com and login into your account and under profile settings set auto return to true.

I currently have the CC module and the paypal module up and running. The user has the ability to choose which one they want to use. Why is there a cc module there if we can not hook it to anything?

 

I am assuming when a user clicks on my paypal account they can pay with a credit card (i am a business user) but they will possibly have to log in. I know there was a way to accept credit cards with paypal without the person making the purchase being a member of paypal.

 

Either way what is the point of the CC module if can not be used. Or am I misunderstanding what you are saying!

The cc module is mainly there just for testing...

 

It can also be used if you have a merchant account and can run credit card info through your moto terminal in your shop.

 

BUT...You can only use it that way if you are PCI compliant and your merchant account specifies that you can process online orders too.

 

Using the paypal module, the customer get the choice if he/she wants to use a paypal account , create a new one or just pay by cc without creating a paypal account.

 

(att....the other options do not show clearly if your browser has a paypal cookie already...then it assumes you have a paypal account and asks you to log-in at the paypal page)
