Guest Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Hi everyone I hope someone can help.....First of all my site was hacked into and some Nigerian sent out spam mail from my shop email account, grrrrrrrr. My host disabled my account because of this! Anyway as they banned my site I changed my host, I am now with GoDaddy, and since the hacking and host change over I now cannot get in to my osCommerse admin, to update my site, and I don't know any other way of doing this! I'm wondering if the hackers changed the log in details! I have looked in my file manager under admin/includes/configure I did see the user and password, but that is not working! I would be grateful for any suggestions on resolving my issue. Thanks Helen
♥geoffreywalton Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 If you get promted for a user name and password then you should be able to reset it using your isp control panel. Guest Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Thanks for replying, but my the admin panel isn't linked with my host, I gather the osCommerce is different, I emailed my previous host, and they said it was nothing to do with them either! I'm confused hehe
♥geoffreywalton Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Helen The problem is not solvable within osCommerce. You should have an administration page with your current isp such as http://yourdomain.com:2082 It might be called cpanel. Look through everything that came through when you purchased your hosting package, you should find it in there. bobg7 Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 First the username/password in the admin/includes/configure.php are for your database and has nothing to do with accessing the admin control panel. If you were using .htaccess and .htpasswrd on you old host you will need to delete them using your new hosts control panels file manager and create new ones, most host control panels have the tools needed to do that. If your using a contribution the username/password may be stored in a database table, you may be able to modify the entrys in the table or just delete them and when you enter admin it will prompt you for new ones. Hope this helps. Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
