tigspok Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Two things,install the paypal ipn check your account profile at paypal I have found the problem, I think, with the shipping cost to going to paypal when checking out. At least for me I have. Follow instrustions to make sure you have this set up, and make sure you back up any information that you may need. 1.) make sure you have your shipping mods. set up like you want in os. 2.)Log into your paypal account. 3.)Click on "profile" 4.)Click on "Set Up Shipping Calculations" 5.)Make sure there is NOTHING set up here. This is were the "bug" between os and paypal is, I think. If you have anything set up under shipping calc. then when you try to check out of os, paypal gets 2 different shipping payment ideas, so it leaves it blank. If you are using the paypal shopping cart or need this information in the shipping calc. area, then dont know what the fix would be. If you don't need this information, then delete this and try your test item again. Should work. Just so everyone knows, that when paypal went to the new server and design, they set this up so you have to go in and make the changes to the shipping calc. Which of course screws up os. If this does not work, not sure what else to do. This did work for me, I removed this and boom baby, it worked. Again, the shipping calc area is I believe for the shopping cart and buy now add to cart buttons only.

I've contacted Paypal and they say it probably happened when they changed Paypal but have yet to resolve the issue for us. I tried the info you posted about going to Profile and going to "Set Up Shipping Calculations" but nothing has been set up there that I can see. Does anyone have any other suggestions to fix the loss of shipping charge? Would be greatly appreciated.
