Price and shipping by country

Hi, I just installed oscommerce and would like to know if it is possible to setup prices by country. This is because we want to give a special price to third world countries. The question is: can this be accomplished with oscommerce? I saw a multi store contribution but before going further I would like to ask to those that know about it.

Beats me why you would want to do that. If you sell something, it costs you money. It does not matter what you sell, it costs the same money if you sell to a third world country or not. I would expect that a merchant sets their prices so that they can get a reasonable profit, irregardless of what country they are selling to. Similarly, I would expect a merchant in a third world country to sell for what is a reasonable profit to them. Otherwise, you are ripping your customers off.

Well the answer is easy even thought not that easy to understand for everyone ..... even in business not everything is about money and profit.

Hi, just to refresh the question, Has anyone worked on or know if assign a price by country or having two price for the same product is possible in oscommerce?

I'm trying to have USPS for other countries and UPS for America...can this be done? If so, how? I have the UPSChoice1.8 contribution installed for UPS.

You can create different zones and map countries to zones and allot shipping to zones.

 

There is one multiple zones shipping contrib.

Our site is www.tmart.in which is almost getting finished. We plan to sell T-shirts and related garments, with 'FREE SHIPPING" all over the world. We would like to have Indian Rupees (INR) for customers in India and when customers from all the countries open the site, it should be US$. Is it possible to configure like this?
