Guest Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Hello I am currently putting together an online shope, and through the postings on this forum are finding the answers to many of my questions. However, I am a little stumped on this one. I need to be able to identify when a customer is having a delivery in one of four post code areas, (NG22, NG23, NG24, NG25). When the delivery is for one of these areas then the shipping is free, for all other areas it is a single fixed rate. I hope someone has done this before. I would also like to apologise if the answer is here on the forum - but I have spent many days searching and cannot find the answer on here. Many thanks in advance. Andy

Andy I think there was a contribution for that, or similar that you may have to modify. Check the addons area.

Many thanks for your help - as you can tell new to the forum (although been heavily dependant on it for the past few weeks). I have found a contribution http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4712 This looks like it will do the job for me, and some. I will report back here if it works, in case any one else is searching for this answer. Thanks again.

I was thinking of something like http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...search,postcode but I haven't used it. Maybe http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...earch,post+code could work for you free shipping and just use a flat rate table for the other.

I have installed the package 4712 contribution, fiddled with it and it has come up trumps for me. Once again thank you. I am a happy teddy now. :D
