richin Posted November 29, 2002 Posted November 29, 2002 When I am doing my installation I get this error FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it! I'm installing in a free web hosting(lycos) i want to know how can I edit the php.ini and where can i find it or if there is any other option to get this fixed. :cry:

Guest Posted November 29, 2002 Posted November 29, 2002 php.ini is a root-level file that only Lycos can change. The odds are very, very good they will not change it for you (for resource usage reasons) but you can always submit a help request to them to have it modified. :D Bailey
