FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini

When I go to my install.php I get this error

FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!

Somebody can help me out?

Do a search in these forums and you'll discover this has been asked and answered many times. Beats waiting around waiting for someone to answer it again. :wink:

In case someone else get this message..

 

its the php.ini in the c:windows directory or wherever you keep windows caged!

 

It is about 1/3rd down just one line.. make it 'On' instead of the 'Off' default.

 

The shop must not be going to do this otherwise it will reset it back to Off.

 

1. Shop off

2. Change file - SAVE!

3. Restart Shop
