go21 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I'm trying to install Protx Form and I'm using osCommerce 2.2 RC1, PHP 4 and the latest Protx Form (the accompanying VSP Form Protocol and Integration Guidelines from Protx Support are dated 18 October 2007). I've successfully uploaded the latest contribution V1.17 (contribution 441) and my store has been set to accept only the Protx module. I'm currently running the Protx Simulator and when I log in as a purchaser and I click "Confirm Order" the store passes me across to Protx successfully and then shows me what a purchaser would normally be seeing at that point. I see that the VSP Form/Crypt part has worked and that the decrypted box is full of the expected details. I click "Proceed" and go to the VSP Form Payment Page, click "Proceed" again and go to VSP Form Payment Page where I can try different tests - successful, error etc. The success and the failure URL are the same /catalog/checkout-process.php and when I click "OK" or "Error" or whatever I get returned to my /catalog/index.php. Having read quite a few posts I see that this is not unusual. What I can't seem to find is whether this is an acceptable result for the Simlator stage and thus proves that the Protx Simulator has performed correctly. If I go on to use the Protx Test Account, will this Test Account allow me to change the failure URL? One other question: the Protx pack for osCommerce I received has a load of .php files, such as includes.php, buildOrder.php, customerDetails.php, orderConfirmation.php etc. Are these intended to replace or supplement osCommerce scripts? Where do they go? Anybody know where I can find a current beginner's guide to installing Protx Form?
sofaking Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I would imagine that you should arrive at the Payment Success page....or similar....rather than being returned to your shops homepage. Have you tried changing the redirect posted up by vitality??? I would say that all the stuff you got in the "pack" - those extra php pages.....they are not required if you can get the form contribution to do the business for you. Hope this helps you out a bit Cheers Michael www.sofaking.org.uk

go21 Posted November 20, 2007 Author Posted November 20, 2007 Hi Michael, only just saw your post - I must have missed the email notification. I've given up on the idea of using Form and have joined the many Protx Direct crew and am currently at the testing stage using perfectpassion's contribution (thankyou Tom!). The only reason I wanted Form was that I was unsure about the necessity of having a PCI audit, which at £315 a go was an expense I wanted to avoid.
