knickers Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Hi, does anyone know if there's a limit on the numbeer of images you can have on your osc site? I've got 1000 on there and it's no longer letting me upload - I just get an error message. If there is a limit, can you upgrade? Grateful if someone could help - I'm at a loss as to why this is happening ottherwise. Thanks, Sallie
DejaVu Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Answer. Definately not. I have 2,500 products. Probably around 6,000 images. The problem could lie in the amout of space your site is using?
Hoheria Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Here's another one, anyone help. Just this morning I've tried without success to upload images to my site which has been working well for a couple of years. All the details are written to the database but the image will not upload - there are only a couple of hundred images in total. On checking the database and pasting in the image file details (database entry shows "null" until I do this) and FTPing the images to the admin/images/ directory it all works fine. I suspect something within OSC may have become corrupted or a config setting altered but I cannot find it - any ideas? Somewhere, somehow, the tmp directory got renamed "temp". I guess this must be used for the image uploads. The only indication I got was the message "no image uploaded" or similar. Thanks to the supanames technician for finding the problem.
