Re-Building New Site, Need Help

I need to know how to change the word "top" to make it say "home" top looks bad and I dont like it.

 

Also, I tried to find a good image resizing modification, but I cant remember which one I used on my other osCommerce site, so if someone could link me to one that actually works, unlike the 3 I have tried already that don't do anything.

 

And i have SEO URL's, Category Descriptions, and Header Tags w/ Meta descrips installed. Is there anything else I am missing for better SEO optimization?
