Guest Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Hi Allan, My comments are in no particular order. Your site was reviewed in Firefox2.0/XP. If the public can find and view the site, then "PLEASE NOTE THIS SITE IS STILL UNDER DELEVOPMENT AND PRODUCTS ARE BEING ADDED DAILY" shouldn't be mentioned. First impressions are important. (The visitor will always remember that the "SITE IS STILL UNDER DELEVOPMENT". And if they are like me, they probably won't come back.) Interesting choice of colors. Purple fits in nicely because of the the mountain shadows (yeah, I noticed the purple in the cartoon characters shirt, but that didn't have the same effect even if it is the color of the rollovers.) I think the purple rollovers blend in nicely because of the purple mountains. Just noticed the different shades of rollover between the top bar and categories. The info box headings are nice. I like the little shadow bar to the left of links. I just hope I haven't been commenting on a d*** template. The delivery_guy gif is neat. The header navigation bar on the very top of the page along with pulling the left column to the top gave me a sence that you were not wasting my screen space. It even gives me a sence that the Logo is smaller than what it actually is. No SSL on the log-in or creat_account pages. I don't know if you use paypal as your payment processor or take paypal accounts in addition to all the other logos because of all the other logos. The "Internet Shopping is Safe" Logo and the "Protx SECURED" Logo were a big problem to me because they look like the type of Logos that should be clickable and thus bring up a pop-up window verifing something about your site. Anything that looks like it suggests security/trust/verification/identification and does not do so should be removed. (NOTE: My ISP [uSA} tells their members to LOOK for SSL and site verifications and not to give out information on sites that lack these features.) The products I checked had good descriptions and pictures. (If I'm spending $804.18US on an item online, then I want all the info I can get before I buy. You passed that test nicely.) Pricacy was short and pointed. <just playing with your mind>In what ways have I consented? How can you process my credit card or give the package delivery people my address if you keep "all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential"? </just playing with your mind> Tells us how you collect the information and what you do with it. All in all a pretty good site.

Glad you liked the site and no its not a template it is a one off customized design :) As for the bandwidth issue as its a brand new site it was getting much traffic but the last few weeks have seen a huge increase therefor i had to upgrade bandwidth which is now done :) Thanks Allan
