Adding Product Pictures to Front Page

I want to change the look of the first page of my site. I want it to show the different Catagories with their pictures on the first page like it does when you have sub-catagories after you click on the main catagory.

I have searched to see if this has been discussed before, but I didn't find it anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is your website in english?

Just go to index.php in the english folder put in the html with pictures instead of the default text...

Hi, I have not been on in a few days and just saw your post. Did you find the answer to your question? If not can you tell us what you want to change on the front page as that will determine which file you need to access.
