ipaq1234 Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Please can someone help. I have an OScommerce website on a remote server, however I now have installed easyPHP and I downloaded the website and would like to run my website locally so I can see changes before I upload them to the server. The problem is the local server is looking for the database on the remote server and not the local one. This is the error I get: Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Can't connect to MySQL server on '**.***.***.***' (10065) in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\My Web Sites\*****.*****.co.uk\includes\functions\database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! The astricks is the IP address the website is looking for the database which is on the internet. I have looked at this file database.php and I can not find the way to change the IP address or where to point the local website. Can anyone tell me what I have to change to make it look at the local database as supose to the remote database? Thanks.
