seth13 Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 is it possible when a customer buys on an oscommerce site to down load all their details straight into both access and sage, save manually entering into sage what has been sold etc and copying and pasting all the info into my customer data base on access
seth13 Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 bump it would be really helpful to find the answer, does anybody know how automated you can make oscommerce, is it possible to have it communicate with other software, ie access and sage
zhexiang Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 The answer is.... It depends.... There're contributions created to communicate with other product.. Like Quickbook
seth13 Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 thanks zhexiang do you know what format (eg sql, csv, xls, etc) oscommerce can export
zhexiang Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 osCommerce helps to backup your database by exporting it to SQL and save it on your pc
Historian Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I'm sure it could be done, but you will probably have to find (and pay!) a programmer to do it. If the information you want is all in the database, then it must be possible to write a program to extract what you want and import it into Access & Sage.
