Hello

PLEASE HELP. I copied my OS commerce catalog and named it a new catalog. Then I did a OS Commerce set up on the new store to a DIFFERENT database, but someone it deleted all my catagories & products from my initial store. It must have something to do with sessions or cookies. Is there any way I can retrieve this info? I uploaded the entire back-up copy of my site but it did not help . . .

PLEASE HELP.

Hello Again

OK_ here is exactly what happened. I had a site www.ginelectronics.com . I got OS Commerce and uploaded and configured the software. Hence, my new site was www.ginelectronics.com/catalog . I did all the editing to the site I wanted and added a few contributions- everything was as I wanted and I added about 1000 products. Being finished with the site I decided I wanted another site for a different line of products. Hence, I copied the catalog folder and renamed it store. I wanted two sites under www.ginelectronics.com. One www.ginelectronics.com/catalog and one www.ginelectronics.com/store. I uploaded the copied store folder to my server and throug myadmin php connected it to a different database than the catalog folder. However, the databases were on the same server/ip address, same user name & passwords, but the actual names of the databases were different, site 1 & site 2 (not real names). However, when I installed site to and connected it to database 2, it erased all the products & categories of site 1. If I go to database 1, it appears is is still there, just no longer connected to the catalog site (site 1), although I can't be sure.

With this added info, what can I do here and where did I go wrong?

Thanks In Advance
