Dumb bots?

I was viewing my AW stats for the first time today and notice a stupidly high amount of visitors looking at /store/thumb.php page, and as consequence leaving on this page as well... simply because their is nothing there but an error message. Problem there is no way to get to this page appart from typing it in direct or if a thumbnail pic didnt get formed properly. BUT as far as i can see there is certainly not many if any errors with my thumb nails, certainly not enough to pick up such a large amount of visitors...

 

 

SO im wondering if it could be bots finidng their way to this sort of page... Do bots crawl all pages even indirect ones? Is it a major problem if bots get stuck in this file... and would it be a problem if i blocked them entering this file with my robot.txt file?
