different items available to different language groups?

Hi I'm working on a project that provides goods in a certain language or with translation into English. The everyday English speaker doesn't speak French, so I want to be able to hide the French-only products in my shop so that he doesn't give up trawling through the things he can't understand to find something he does... OK I do have the items divided into French and Translated, but is there any way the first page in English can show new products that are from the English set only?

 

I think I've asked this question before, but can't find it via search, so I'm asking again.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.
