bobg7 Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 It might help if you explained the error your having, a few details may pinpoint the issue. Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
ScriptThis13 Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 It might help if you explained the error your having, a few details may pinpoint the issue. Sorry...I basically installed all of the steps in the contribution...and when I go to do a trial purchase and checkout of and item, there is no CVV2 input spot under credit card expiration...there is also no spot in the admin aread to turn it on or off..which I think may be my problem..but ive already checked my code... any thoughts???
ScriptThis13 Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 Also, when you go to the admin payment area and look for the checkoff box on whether or not to use cvv2 theres a text input field rather than a redio button selection...??????
ScriptThis13 Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 I just double checked all the code as well...is there any possible way this is getting messed up because of my version of OScommerce????

shartlesville Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 THANKS, i love the forums. =), but i still have a trouble, the popup don't apears... It's a bug and no one has listed an answer. I just changed the wording to "three digit code on the back" or something similar. Good luck. :-) Blessings, K
osComNoob Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 my pop up works fine. my major problem is that the CVV2 code does not show up in the admin area. i can see the credit card info, but the Security Code area is left blank. How do I fix this? I have a live store and this is a big pain in the butt.
♥toyicebear Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 You are all aware that its against Visa and Mastercards rules to store the CVV/CVV2 security codes? Breaking this rule can lead to fines up to 500.000 USD aswell as losing your merchant account, getting blacklisted from getting a new merchant account. If you are based in The States you might also get civil suits from customers on top of that. stonenote Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 CCV2 not showing up on customers payment page to enter it ... also not showing up to enable or disable in admin panel. I have rechecked the files and all have been added. I have used the most recent update of contribution. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2954 I disabled the cc module before adding to the table and then re-enabled it. Still does not show up either on the store or the admin panel. Though looking through all the files in which they needed to be changed, cc_ccv2 is added. I have PHP version 5.2.5 and osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 RC2a I am also working this whole system out in the 'background' mode prior to switching DNS servers. So far everything has worked except these payment modules. https://70.87.81.162/~bodhitre/catalog/ Do you think it is either a problem with version of PHP, or the fact that it is in 'background' mode or that there is an error in the php pages somewhere? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks much.
stonenote Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 ok I too feel like the "A__" as magjogui... After doing all that - even though I disabled the module - I went back and figured what the heck I will uninstall it and then reinstall it. Nice how that works!!! Make a point to read everything not once but twice!
akawero Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 My CVV module update is not working. I do not have a field on the checkout page. I do not have anything to enable / disable. I have edited all files according to read me file. I made the change to the orders table with the sql syntax. What am I doing wrong?
akawero Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 My CVV module update is not working. I do not have a field on the checkout page. I do not have anything to enable / disable. I have edited all files according to read me file. I made the change to the orders table with the sql syntax. What am I doing wrong? OK...I don't know if I missed this in the instructions somewhere but while I was trying to troubleshoot I found an sql statement. It looked like an sql statement that should have ran automatically so I check my database for the data and it was not there. So this is what I did and it finally showed up on the checkout_payment.php page and also in the admin section. I went opened up phpMyAdmin and inserted these values into the "configuration" table. I clicked to insert data and plugged in this data into the corresponding fields. configuration_title => Require CCV2 configuration_key => MODULE_PAYMENT_CC_CVV2 configuration_value => True configuration_description => Require cvv2 numbers configuration_group_id = > 6 sort_order => 0 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope this saves someone some hair and hours of frustration.
♥geoffreywalton Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Funnily enough I have just updated my clear down db add on to allow just these fields to be blanked out of the db. It is scary that people still want to store them. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?s=&...t&p=1315420 Need help installing add ons/contributions, cleaning a hacked site or a bespoke development, check my profile Virus Threat Scanner My Contributions Basic install answers.
