how to change "manufacturers" to something else

i make my own bath & body products, how do i change the places where "manufacturers" appears to something more appropriate like "fragrances"?

 

here's a rough draft of my store http://theivorymagnolia.com/catalog/

 

click on manufacturers drop down list and you will see my fragrances listed.

Look in your language files for text that says manufacturers ie defines.

 

Do not change text that is code related. Only do it for your catalog.

 

Look in the english/index.php and look for 'defines Manufacturers' and change that to 'whatyouwant'

 

Do the same for advanced_search.php, and in languages/index.php. The word manufacturers may appear twice in some files.

Were exactly do you do this at?? My os commerrec admin file manager and/or the hosting admin my php admin database or both. I am new and am confused on this.....

Neither, and you meant how.

 

You ftp the site to your pc, do the edits there and ftp the changed files back to the web.
