amarvell Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Hi all Is the weight in Kilograms and grams or pounds and ounces A friend of mine has just spent 3 weeks weighing products and putting them on the site only now is telling me that items weighing 5 grams, when she puts them in as 0.005 arn't showing up at all, just as 0.00 we have done everything in kilos, and cant afford to do it all again in pounds if it is in pounds is there a way of changing it to kilos and also is there a way to make it read weight to 3 decimal places many thanks Carl

The unit to use is what your shipping module uses if it goes off site to get shipping costs.

joannemojo Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I don't use proper weights. Couldn't work it out. I simply have my items weighing 1.000 or 2.000 and then a table shipping thing so the shipping goes up with every item added to cart.

If you want help with tables, just ask.
joannemojo Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 It's not a per item shipping thing I have. I sell CDs so with each CD added the price goes up by 25-50p. Standard shipping price for first and then increments with additions. Thanks for the offer. :)
