Manufacturers dropdown menu.

Hello forum users,

 

Im currently working on a webshop but Im having some problems.

 

The way I have setup my shop doesnt work with the way that the manufacturers list is generated.

Well the Manufacturers list it self work but the second list which comes up in the right corner show values I dont wanna see.

I found out that it has to do with the way I have setup my catergories which is Sort Product --> Brand --> Products.

So when I search for the a manufacturer I get all products they have. But when I wanna filter it down with the dropdown box on the right upper side,

I see 5 options but all options are named after the brand. Instead of the product type.

If I change the subcategory name from brand to the sort product, it works but then my whole shop gets twisted.

 

I came up with the idea to add an additional box to the setup for a subcategory which contains a tag and then let the menu show the tag.

But I couldnt find the file to edit so I could change the codes.

 

The question is: Is it possible to change the way that the box in the right corner show the catergories for a specific brand?

And is there allready a contribution for this?
