laurentb Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Hi I have a bit of a strange thing happening. I don't remember it doing it before, so something must have. It happens in very specific places and moments. The first page that apprears after logging in, doesn't show the symbol £ in the table of product, but instead this . If I click on catalog, the prices them show the right symbol £ or €. This defect happen only once in the catalog, and this is just after login. Although once logged in appears on My Account, on Previous Order (pages and tables) and CheckOut, but in item description, catalog the £ symbol is shown. I have tested € £ both don't show in theses specific pages, but strangely $ appears always. I forgot to say, that if the currency is presented in letters like USD, GBP theses are showing always like the $ symbol Any Idea? Thanks

laurentb Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 Thanks web-project I found this page. http://www.atm.ox.ac.uk/user/iwi/charmap.html The default setting produce some symbol that worked so far. Cheers Now I discovered that these html symbols are ok in the shop but now show as for exemple as &x163; in the invoices. (by the way, how does one enter this sort of code &x163; without being changed to £. I have tried all the boxes, it doesn't seems to work) Also when I go back to admin and adjust currency, the html is interpretated as symbol again, and goes away. Do I have something corrupted in my files?.. as the newly downloaded version that I use for experiment on MAMP doesn't show similar behaviours. Grrr
