Upgrading Help

I have an old shop I need to upgrade. Two questions:

 

1) Where can I find the current version of the software? (Based on some notes, I think it's Milestone 2 Update 051113, but I'm not absolutely certain, so I' need to know where to look to be sure.)

 

2) Where are various archive versions of the software available so if necessary I can perform the incremental upgrades required to bring the store up to the most current version?

Go to www.sourceforge.net and type osCommerce into the search box. You'll find osCommerce 2.2 MS2 (060817) which contains files for applying upgrades manually.

Lessee... http://sourceforge.net/projects/tep/ contains the oscommerce-2.2ms2-060817.(zip|tgz) files, and inside there is the update-20060817.txt file to which I think you refer. What I'm unclear on is how I find out exactly what release this shop is currently using; should I just attempt to apply the code changes from the bottom-up, figuring if the changes aren't required, I'm already at that version?

 

(Maybe I'm just being thrown by the application remaining at 2.2 for so many years, with so many un-numbered dated "releases.")

 

I'm assuming 2.2 MS2 may be directly upgraded to 2.2 RC1?
