VAT problem any ideas

I have a curious problem; on orders from Belgium (i am in the UK) for some reason tax is showing up as EU Vat 17.5% <value>+EU Vat 17.5% <value>+EU Vat 17.5% <value>. i.e it is adding the vat on three times instead of once. So far it is only Belgian orders affected but there could be others; all other countries I am aware of work fine.

Could someone give me some pointers as to where i might start looking to solve this little problem!

Hi thanks, I didn't actually setup the shop, I have taken over a live project. It had been set up badly with seemingly random countries added to the ROW tax zone, and thus charged VAT - Belgium was indeed added 3 times!

So what I did was just redo the tax zones from scratch EU and ROW etc, works perfectly now.

I would advise anybody (and this is really common sense and I am a fool for not doing it) if you are taking over responsibility for a shop set up by someone else, cooly and calmly take a good look around and make sure there are no mistakes or shortcuts in the setup.
