Hello,

I'm new to this forum and new to this whole world actually. I'm not sure what I did exactly, and I can't figure out how to fix it! I have a website that sells clothing and under my "Categories" I would have something like "Shirts." If I were to click on the "Shirts" category, it displays my entire collection of everything in all the categories. It worked fine before, but recently I installed some kind of update or bug fix, I don't even remember. However, since then it has not worked properly. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or can point me in the right direction? Thank you so much!

I also forgot to mention that it will display products multiple times with the wrong names...did I really mess this up or what!?

This sounds like an excellent time ro restore your site from a backup. (guess you would have done that if you had one).

Still no harm in reinforcing back up before you do anything.

Think really hard and find out what update/fix you applied and then either go back and reapply the changes (only this time take your time and make sure you do everthing in the installation instructions.

If you can't remember download osCommerce to your local pc and compare the files with a date last amended that is on or after the date you applied your patches. You could replace the updated files with the original ones but I don't know what other changes, that worked that you might have applied.

Finally if you can suceed with any of these reinstall osCommerce from scratch (and swear to back up regularly, including data).

Good luck
