beckysmith Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 I've searched for log off, log out and other things but cannot get an answer for this one... When I log into the site it says "Welcome back Fred!" etc - that's fine as I have set up an account as Fred... But when I come to log out and someone adds a new account using a different name (using the same computer) it still says "Welcome back Fred!" even if they are now logged in as user Bob! Is there an easy way, without having to manually delete cookies, to make sure OsCommerce pick up the name for the user that's now logged in? Or, is there also an easy way (again, without having to manually delete the cookies) to remove the name and take it back to Guest! every time someone logs out?
Mark Evans Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 I commited a fix to CVS a week or so ago which only greets the user when they are logged on.
