Show one header image for homepage and another image for all other pages

Hi there,

 

I'm trying to edit my header.php file so that it will display an image to site visitors on the home page but will replace that image with another for all other pages. (basically the home page image has information that people only need to see on arrival).

 

Any suggestions on how to do this in the header.php file?
