NO products showing for New Products for October

First, I am not referring to the New Products box :)

 

On our website the new products is not showing for only one category.

Example: It shows the new products for October if

 

Categories: Songs > Rock-n-Roll (will show new products for current month under songs and rock-n-roll pages)

 

Does not work if

 

Catagories: Songs > Rock-n-Roll > Slow (will not show current products for month under rock -n-roll, but will show under songs and Slow pages)

 

Does anyone know where and how to change the code so it will show no matter how many subcategories I have?

edit - oops posted reply in wrong window :P I will comment anyway.

 

I seem to get 'new products for' empty when there are new products so I will be looking at this shortly, if I make any progress I'll post here if noone else has helped yet.

 

In the meantime the code is in new_products.php
