using different button_in_cart images for templates

Hello,

 

I am new to oscommerce and php. I've searched this forum and the internet but haven't not been able to find a solution to my problem.

 

I have installed STS 4.5 and am able to create templates for categories, products, etc.

 

However, due to the nature of the store, I need to have different "add to cart" buttons. For certain product templates I want the button to say "add to cart"

for other templates I need the button to say "Register Now"

 

I know how to replace the button_buy_now gif in the catalog/includes/language/english/images/buttons folder

 

but this changes the button for all the templates.

 

Is there a way to set up the template/images folders so the buttons can be stored here instead of the in the language folder? Or is there some code that needs to be changed depending on the product or category?
