Boschett Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I'm looking to add a contribution that adds a coupon code field during checkout. I'd like to have the option to have multiple codes. I've searched the forums and the contribution pages and all I seem to come up with are ones where there are issues or bugs. Who can recommend one that works? Thanks Quote
pure11 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) I'm looking to add a contribution that adds a coupon code field during checkout. I'd like to have the option to have multiple codes. I've searched the forums and the contribution pages and all I seem to come up with are ones where there are issues or bugs. Who can recommend one that works? Thanks i installed this one: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4269 i have newest version OSC and it works just fine i have paypal and money order checkouts and works with both asks for coupon before continuing to selected method of cehckout so user enters coupon code and the discount is applied correctly will show like this (example) for money order or paypal checkout: United States Postal Service (1 x 5lbs) (Priority Mail): $6.30 Sub-Total: $43.11 CA TAX 7.75%: $3.34 Discount Coupon COUPONCODENAME applied: -$4.79 Total: $47.96 before customer clicks continue this will show, then if customer chooses paypal, only the final price will show, so $47.96 this does not work with google checkout so far Edited October 30, 2007 by pure11 Quote
Boschett Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 What's the deal with the "temporary fix" that is referenced in the latest two download files. This makes me a little leery. Quote
