Transferring Domains

Hello,

 

I'm more of a front-end person, so anything remontely back-end kind of freaks me out. Even though, oscommerce has a nice interface, it's still scary.

 

So, I have a domain and have oscommerce installed associated with that domain. If I were to transfer domains (and still have the same host and such), will my e-commerce store be affected? Or will I have to reinstall oscommerce, and build my store back up again?

Change of Domain Name - would not affect anything on OSC side except modifying configure.php & replacing appropriate values for HTTP_SERVER and HTTPS_SERVER.

 

If you intend to change host, you would have to copy all files + database on new host, again, no need to reinstall OSC at any stage.
