Guest Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I have changed some styling for some info boxes using the stylesheet.css, however the changes are not reflecting on the site. Is there another style file that I am missing, any ideas?

Run your site through a proxy Generally these files are cached on your machine or your ISP and even if the settings have changed, it would take a while before you yourself can see it. A good IE short-cut is to hold down CTRL key and pressing enter to force IE to download a fresh copy of file. (I learnt this on forum a few days back... forgot who told me this valuable input... but it is really a good tip) Best Regards,Gaurav
Guest Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 yeh, that was the first option I tried. i have repeatedly cleared the cache but it does not help. I am also viewing on 3 different computers, also on 3 different browsers, IE, FF and Safari. Still not displaying changes I have made. Even if I check the stylesheet.css through the admin's file manager the code is there, even though it does not work, it's very strange, or maybe not. I remember reading somewhere about external and internal stylesheets so maybe this could be the issue, but I have no idea where to start looking.
Guest Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 in fact any changes I make to the stylesheet now do not work, i have made many changes previously but at some point it has just stopped reflecting the changes live, it's driving me nuts. someone please help!
Guest Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 ok, worked it out, somehow using the html/css editor I embedded the styleshett in the index.php, uploaded that and it worked.
