Guest Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Hi i am sorry if there is help on this already but i cannot find any, I have been asked to help someone change to a different host as they where having problems site going don etc... the account is set up and I have ftp-ed the site to the new space I can see the home page but if i try to go to another page i get an error message. I haven't uploaded the database that i backed up yet as i assumed that i would be able to do this once the website was uploaded. I did enable Mysql on the hosting account and created a blank database. I assume that there is an important step that i have missed can you point me the right direction - I have never worked with OSCommerce before, so help would be really appreciated. Error mesage is: Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user '***_restaurant'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/o/l/oldirectory/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 21 Unable to connect to database server!

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
