When you make the changes, you click update and the data is stored in the database.

Store Name for instance is used in the files where it says . STORE_NAME . so that you only have to update in admin and have the change reflected everywhere that it appears.

I thank you for your interest and help. however, I am a real dunce at this, My web page at the moment says YOUR STORE NAME.com, instuctions from seller (Avagoo.com) say: go to admin, change name to your store name, and any other details on the list, which I have done. When I go back to see my updated web page, nothing has altered!!!!!! ugh!!, and I am in a sea of mud!!

When it says to put in YOUR STORE NAME you actually put the name of your store there. Mine says the The Coopco e-Shop.

That text is in a gif file called header_r2_c1.gif, and so cannot be changed unless you create a new gif file.

Hope you are acting on my PM.

Many thanks, but I'm still completely stumped. what does your PM mean?
