Payment Zones

I currently have payments working fine. There is no zone attached to the payment gateway. I would like to use zones so only those customers who are in designated countries can pay by credit card. However, when I nominate a zone (any zone) to the payment gateway, the page where card details are entered simply refreshes when the customer click continue. If I remove the zone, it works fine again.

How do I effectively use zones in the payments module?

I have set tax zones up, and they work fine for differentiating shipping tables. So I am trying to use the same principle for payment purposes. If I haven't set the zones up correctly, then how do I?

Obvioulsy, I have done that, because I said that the payment won't process "when I nominate a zone to the payment gateway".

 

To state again, my problem is that when I assign a zone to a payment gateway it stops any payment processing for that gateway or any other gateway. The page simply refreshes instead of going to the Confirm page.
