Attention: Anyone implementing updated modules

Hi all,

 

I've been having problems implementing a Worldpay payment module. I found the following to be essential

 

I had to disable the current version which I wanted to replace, using standard osCommerce functionality

 

I then checked the Configuration table for records that shouldn't be there.

 

I then deleted the old filesw and added the new ones.

 

Finally, I enabled the option again, entering all parameters again.

 

I didn't a;ways follow the above process, and it caused me a lot of problems. If you don't disable the option at any stage, you will need to check the configuration table for stray records in order to get back to where you started.

 

I hope this helps somebody somewhere, and saves them the time I have spent untangling my self-created mess!
