Adding Fields To The Product Table

Is there any advice out there of how to add a new field to the product table?

You can add field to the product table using php my admin.

 

In Cpanel, select MySQL, then at the bottom of the next screen is the link to PhpMy Admin.

 

Once you add the field to the table you then need to enhance the product screen to allow you to maintain the new field.

 

Oh yes you will also need to add more code to actually use the data but I am sure you already knew that.
