Help Help, URGENT issue with my shopping cart!

Hi,

So I'm hoping someone can help me with a critical issue I'm having with my shopping cart. We recently had a coder make some modifications to our product_info pages (mostly just the display, not functionality). After he logged out and went to sleep (he is in the UK and is 6 hours ahead of us) we discovered that an issue had come up with our shopping cart where any time we add something to our cart, it deletes anything that was previously added to the cart, so essentially only one thing can be in the cart at one time. We have spent all evening looking through the code and after I copied over the product_info page with a previous copy from a few weeks ago that had no problems, we now think the issue is not with the product_info page. We have a number of contributions installed, but I don't think any of the corresponding pages have been adjusted (and unfortunately he isn't around to ask/get this fixed). We have the quantity price controller and a few things.

 

My main question is, does anyone know if there is a specific page where the add to cart functions/calculations are performed where we can do a file compare to a previous version to try to track down the issue as soon as possible? I've checked all the files I can think of that might have something to do with it and none of them are changed from what they were a few weeks or days ago when we weren't experiencing this issue.

 

My urgency is that right now the shopping cart will only allow orders for a single product to go through (not good) and if I can look into this myself I'd rather not wait 15 more hours for my programmer to be back in the office at the same time as me (I really need to find a programmer in my timezone).

 

If anyone has any thoughts (or if has experience with OSC and does freelance coding who might be able to take a look at this for us tonight), please let me know!!

Someone once said "patients is a virtue". Unless your willing to provide a lot more information about what said person modified and examples of the your shops code (product_info.php in particular) I doubt that anyone can help you aside from the person who did the coding. In the big scheme of things 15 hours isn't really all that long.
