madrussian Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I was having issues w/ my osCommerce so I backed it up and made a backup file. The plan was to have a "guinea pig" osCommerce cart on another site and then use this database on that site and get everything right before overwriting my current one. A crappy or slightly disfunctional osCommerce than no osCommerce I figured. Problem is everytime I attempt to restore I get an internal server error. Is this because I'm attempting to restore to a diff. database than the original backup file was made on, is there anyway around this, or anything I can do to help myself out? I hate to think that I have to risk losing all my work and reinstall completely new and hope that my backup works. Thanks!

Anything above 5 MB or so on a shared server will usually not restore due to the server limits.
