Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ....

Hi

I was going to check (as a customer) if everything was working ok and unfortunately I cannot log-in.

I did register as a customer a few days ago (last thing I did that day) and then today I tried to order something - all ok until it asked me to log-in.

All I get is a blank page with:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /homepages/39/extra/htdocs/folder/folder/login.php on line 34 !

I replaced the login.php just in case it was corrupted - no change.

Then (while still in the payment area) I registered as a new user and all went fine!

Now, I tried to log-in as the last 'new' registered user and I cannot log-in.

By the way, I am now going to try to set up a shorter PW, as I just remembered that many systems do have this problem sometimesand since I am one of those paranoic users that uses long PW - it may just be that.

If so, how do I modify the max pw length?

Thank you

I am setting up OScommerce and testing it from the User Side !

Sure is. Why do you make everybody guess what is on line 34. Do you think we are psychic here?

In RC1 it says:

if (!tep_validate_password($password, $check_customer['customers_password']))

I don't see what that has to do with calling something in an object/class.

BTW, the forum rules say that bumping is not allowed. If nobody answers provide more information. I don't see much of that in this thread to be honest.
