There is there anyway of saying that a particular website will only ship within the continental United States?

Is there any setting which allows me accepts sales and limit shipping area

to within the continental United States when using GC?

 

In other words I do not want any orders which have to be shipped

Internationally or to Alaska or Hawwaii.

Deleting those Countries/States in admin->Locations/Taxes will prevent anyone from there from creating an account, and thus ordering.

Or create a tax zone for only the states you want, then apply that zone to both shipping and payment modules (all of them) that you are using - that way you don't need to delete any of the countries / states (can add them in again later if you want to) and anyone outside of the states you select cannot select a shipping method or payment method.

 

You can also add location warnings in the shipping module language files (using all normal html font size, strength, colour etc) to make sure even the blindest of the blind realise the issue.

For some reason when somebody signs up for an account from Kansas it keeps repeating to pick a state and KANSAS won't work. At the beginning when i didn't know much of what I was doing I tried set it up for taxes. Did I set a zone somewhere? You can try to set up an account (I can delete it afterwards) and see what I mean.
