Testing Payment Gateways? How?

Ok, my oscommerce site is nearly ready for primetime (live).

 

I plan on using 2Checkout & paypal as payment options.

 

How can I test that these work ok?

With PayPal you would perform a real transaction (can be for as little as $0.01). If you do larger transactions, you can process refunds which return all fees.

yep... with paypal you are allowed 2 account (one personal and one business)... so you just set up a personal account to use for testing... goto your site and buy something, checkout and use your personal account in paypal as the person paying... then after your done testing just log into your business account and on the transaction activity list under status click "completed" beside the test transaction you just made and at the bottom of the page will be refund information and a link to refund the payment... paypal gives you a window of 30 days to refund payments.
